Centralized data adds structure to FP&A processes at Macquarie Telecom Group

Gaining business clarity in the Office of Finance to drive enhanced planning

Following significant growth, Macquarie Telecom Group required a platform that adds structure and capability to its FP&A processes. A leading data center, cloud, cyber security, and telecom company based in Australia, the group needed a way to standardize financial data, with disparate data sources across the Office of Finance and wider business, while gaining greater insight to lead planning. Macquarie Telecom adopted Board’s Intelligent Planning Platform to design, build, and deliver solutions that enhance essential finance functions and gain clarity into its business.

The lack of good quality data created a lot of frustration in the teams, a lack of transparency, and a whole bunch of manual work. Board was a good way of centralizing how we see our data and how we plan for the business.
