Board Appoints Ross Daniels as Chief Marketing Officer in Move to Scale Growth


With more than 25 years of experience in software marketing, Daniels brings product marketing, demand generation, and strategic marketing expertise to Board. 

Board, the Enterprise Planning Platform, today announced the appointment of Ross Daniels as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). With a proven track record of successfully merging traditional and modern marketing strategies, Daniels is set to play a pivotal role in shaping Board’s global marketing efforts to accelerate growth in key regions.

Daniels will ensure that Board's message to the market is clear and differentiated, while also driving essential demand generation, corporate communications, product, digital, and field and partner marketing initiatives. His appointment is the latest in the leadership transformation at Board, following recent executive additions in Sales, Product, Alliances, Customer Success, and Operations.

Daniels began his technology marketing career at Cisco, helping to build its contact center business from $30 million to $300 million, and ultimately leading marketing for Cisco's $5B collaboration software business. He subsequently served as the CMO of Calabrio, which saw growth of more than 40% annually and was acquired by Thoma Bravo in 2021. Most recently, he was the CMO of Acqueon, which was acquired by Nasdaq-listed Five9.
