Monnalisa sceglie BOARD per Reporting Gestionale e Consolidamento
Monnalisa, a successful children’s clothing and accessories company, has chosen the BOARD platform to support and provide Reporting, Multi-dimensional Analysis, and Management and Statutory Consolidation processes.
With the support of Ernst & Young, Monnalisa has established a new multi-dimensional Control Model, which was initially implemented with a series of initiatives on its Management and Accounting System. This model enabled the creation of a cost accounting system at corporate level (Monnalisa S.p.A.), which is capable of recording accounting events aligned to thekey elements of therelevant dimensions (channel, cost centre, product, etc.). This information provides the basis for building reports capable of showing margins for the various analysis dimensions and laying the logical and functional foundations for a new budgeting process.
In the wake of the work done by EY, Monnalisa realised that it needed to equip itself with a web-based software platform to support the processes of:
- Business Intelligence and multi-dimensional Analysis;
- Management + Statutory Consolidation and related Reporting
At the Software Selection stage, Sara Tommasiello, Monnalisa’s Finance & Control Manager, explained:
“The platform needs to be able to support our Group’s development in terms of size (number of companies and foreign countries) and in relation to other collateral processes (e.g. budget, financial planning, etc.)”
Monnalisa chose BOARD because of its hallmark All-in-One environment, which will enable the company to support its current and future business processes with an integrated solution. The project is already under implementation and will be handled by the BOARD partner K. Group in conjunction with EY.
